If they explain the climate stuff to you and you don't understand it perhaps it's because they don't have the slightest idea of what they are talking about.
And of course if they don't know what a problem consists of, much less will they know how to solve. So the recipes they want to sell you will most likely be absurd and focused more on complicating your existence which is really what they like doing and rarely miss an opportunity to do so.
Certainly, climate issues are quite complex but they are based on relatively simple physical mechanisms that if well enough explained almost everybody can understand... We do not have to predict what the climate will be like in five years nor when the next catastrophic atmospheric phenomenon is going to happen. Understanding broadly what is happening and how to improve matters would suffice.
There tends to be a lot of talk about global warming but even more important than this is climate disruption which consists of the increase in the frequency and the intensity of atmospheric events. Its determining factors are the loss of forest mass in intertropical latitudes. This is the most important factor of climate warming and destabilization, the devastation of ecosystems and not directly the burning of fossil fuels. Rather these have made possible a massive assault on intertropical forests, a new expansion of agriculture and an increase in the desertification that was already happening before.
So, with this issue in mind there is no other solution than to press "those countries", force them to devastate no more jungles and to rebuild the ones they have destroyed.
And given the fact that the entire jungle is more productive and profitable than the degraded territory:
NOT EVEN A SINGLE EURO IN RETURN!
